As he accepted a Golden Globe for Best Original Score on behalf of Hateful Eight composer Ennio Morricone, Quentin Tarantino happily assumed the role of Drunk Uncle. There was lots of hand-waving, listing back and forth, and general enthusiasm. Sure, it was pretty Tarantino-centric speech—but it was in service of praising the very deserving Morricone.
