At Sunday night’s Golden Globes, as a sedate Jon Hamm accepted the award for Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama, for Mad Men, the erstwhile Don Draper nodded to creator Matthew Weiner with this: “Thanks for not taking my suggestion and ending the entire series on Chumbawamba.”
