Jerry Seinfeld Did a Very Seinfeldian Stand-Up Set on Colbert’s Late Show

On Wednesday’s Late Show, Jerry Seinfeld performed seven minutes of stand-up that can only be described as very Seinfeld. He fretted over the metaphysical paradox that donut holes represent; he made fun of TV dinners. Notably, he tip-toed very close to asking, “What’s the deal with buffets?”

“There’ something about it that breaks down the mind, reason, judgment, portion sizes, combinations,” Seinfeld marvels, adding later, “People build these death row last meal wishlists. It’s like a working model of all their emotional issues and personal needs.”
