Directors Who Cameo in Their Own Movies: A Supercut

There are some directors—Hitchcock, Tarantino, Spike Lee—who are well known for making brief appearances in their own movies. But the phenomenon extends far beyond those usual suspects: filmmakers like Michael Bay, Terence Malick, Alfonso Cuarón, and Wes Craven have all had their fun, winking moments in front of the camera.

So you don’t have to painstakingly find said moments, Jacob T. Swinney has made this supercut, which handily compiles dozens of them in one video. The best one? Probably Peter Jackson’s two (very bloody) seconds of fame in Return of the King.
