Watch the Cast of Star Wars Sing “Stayin’ Alive” in the Tonight Show’s Latest Video Mashup

In the wake of the release of The Force Awakens, you might think that every possible Star Wars supercut and video essay has already been unleashed on the world. But Jimmy Fallon’s staff at the Tonight Show had one more video compilation idea up their sleeves: To celebrate the film series’ longevity, Fallon explained last week, “We thought we would show our excitement the only way we know how: by editing footage from the Star Wars movies to the tune of ‘Stayin’ Alive’ by the Bee Gees.”

The team that repeatedly made Brian Williams look like an accomplished rapper has brought us another well-edited mashup. The video brings together footage from the prequels and the original trilogy, including some well-placed shots of Jabba the Hut’s house group, the Max Rebo Band. Even better than the disco-dancing aliens, however, is the Tonight Show’s rendition of the “Ah, ha, ha, ha” part of the “Stayin’ Alive” chorus, which cobbles together some of Star Wars’ most memorable grunts, groans, and shrieks.
