Ant-Man’s Honest Trailer Confirms That Marvel’s Tiniest Superhero Isn’t Half Bad

Making a movie about Ant-Man, whose superpower entails shrinking down to speck-size and fighting evil, was always a funny proposition. We knew it, Marvel knew it, even the film itself—which has a great, self-deprecating script—knew it. And yet, it must also be said that Ant-Man was a good movie, one that sadly suffered from a low profile.

Thankfully, the Honest Trailer for the film concedes that fact, and highlights the movie’s obvious merits—a game cast, clever action, Paul Rudd doing Paul Rudd things—while still mocking the absurdity of its plot, which plays like a loony hybrid of Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
