On top of being an unprecedented kind of chart topper, Adele’s “Hello” quickly proved ripe for parody. The latest spin-off inspired by Adele’s emotional ballad gives some of TV and film’s favorite characters—from Homer Simpson to Harry Potter—a chance to sing (well, sing-talk) Adele karaoke.
The video might be a bit choppy, and would have benefited from some autotune to really nail that soaring chorus, but cleverly placed clips from Star Wars, E.T., the Extraterrestrial, and even Sesame Street make the end result pretty impressive. And it’s fun just to see all these characters united in one place just to say “hello” from the other side.
