In the Girls Season 5 Trailer, Marnie Gets Married and Hannah Makes Out With Elijah    

The new trailer for Girls Season 5 begins, unsurprisingly, with an uncomfortable moment—specifically, a noisy, extended kiss between Hannah (Lena Dunham) and her gay ex-boyfriend Elijah (Andrew Rannells) as her new boyfriend, Fran (Jake Lacy), looks on. In addition to reassuring viewers that the show’s penchant for cringey moments is alive and well, the trailer provides some plot updates: Marnie’s getting married (possibly in some seriously overdone makeup), and Shoshanna seems to be thriving in Japan. Not much news on Jessa, who decided she wanted to be a therapist, or Adam, whom we saw Hannah turn down at the close of Season 4. More will surely be revealed when the new season premieres on HBO on Feb. 21.
