In their combined 16 years on SNL—two of which saw them host the best-ever iteration of Weekend Update—Tina Fey and Amy Poehler gave life to a program that, before their arrival, struggled to move past the bro-comedy of Sandler, Spade, and Farley. Now the two are returning to their old stomping grounds: THR reports that Fey and Poehler will co-host SNL’s Christmas episode on Dec. 19. The show will be SNL’s last of the year, and the first time the two have hosted it together. (Fey has hosted solo four times; Poehler, once).
