The all-women music video is fast becoming SNL’s most reliable subgenre, and the latest such video, “First Got Horny 2 U,” is particularly good. Playing on the all-white ensembles and doe-eyed earnestness of ’90s boy bands, it sees Vanessa Bayer, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Cecily Strong, and host Elizabeth Banks pay tribute to the dashing men who first awakened their adolescent libido.
Those men range from Carson Daly to Taylor Hanson to a handful of more off-kilter choices—Bayer digs the murderous Menendez brothers, for instance, while Bryant’s tastes run a tad more prehistoric.
