Donald Trump’s recent outing as host of SNL was a toothless affair, and for good reason: It’s tough to skewer a man whose very appeal relies on a bombastic persona. Still, the episode would have been a tad more amusing if it had included the above cut sketch, which takes advantage of the low-hanging comic fruit that is Trump’s hair.
In “Scalp Team Six,” a secret ops unit is tasked with protecting Trump’s comb-over during a critical security meeting with Vladimir Putin. The enemy? A rather strong gust of wind. As the team enters the orange follicle-forest of Trump’s head, it becomes clear that medium-hold hairspray won’t get the job done, and that more desperate measures are required. SNL: making hair great again.
