Antonio Banderas can make anything sound sexy, including an animated boot-wearing cat and a bee designed to sell nasal spray. But Stephen Colbert tested the power of Banderas’ distinctive voice when he handed him a list of random phrases on the Late Show and challenged him to “open the taps and just let the sexy out” while reading them aloud.
A giggly Banderas complied. Thanks to Colbert’s request, it’s probable that pleated khakis will make a comeback and the demand for tilapia will skyrocket. And if Jeb Bush’s campaign experiences a resurgence, he’ll have Banderas and the Late Show to thank.
