Sandra Bullock has already stepped into George Clooney’s shoes once—in Our Brand Is Crisis, she took a role originally written for him. Now she’ll channel Clooney’s Danny Ocean in an all-female reboot of Ocean’s Eleven. Gary Ross, of Hunger Games fame, will direct the project, and Clooney is listed as one of the producers.
The reboot has been in the works for a while, at least according to leaked Sony emails referring to it. In them, Sony’s Amy Pascal urged her team to speed up the project when she heard about the upcoming all-female Ghostbusters reboot, which is slated for July 2016. No details about the plot or the rest of the cast have been announced.
