Watch Tom Hanks Perform Bridge of Spies Scenes Written By Kids

Steven Spielberg’s new movie, Bridge of Spies, is a stately, low-boil period piece buoyed by a sharp script from the Coen brothers. That script is considerably simplified in Jimmy Fallon’s latest installment of “Kid Theater,” a recurring segment in which children are told the name of a film and, with only that knowledge at hand, tasked with writing scenes for it.

The results, as usual, are comically abstract, and watching Fallon and Tom Hanks enact loony, roundabout conversations with total gravitas is a delight.
