Colbert Squeezed a Full Orchestra Onto His Set So They Could Play Legend of Zelda Music

On Tuesday night, Stephen Colbert squeezed an entire orchestra, specifically, Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, into the Ed Sullivan Theater to preview music from Legend of Zelda: TriForce Heroes, which is due out for the Nintendo 3DS on Oct. 23. The concert series just announced its Master Quest global tour, so their Late Show visit was also a preview of what their fans can expect from upcoming shows.

The 74-piece orchestra’s arrangement featured themes from some of the old games, as well as the new one. We’ll leave it up to you to decide who does Zelda music better: These guys, or Late Show house band Jon Batiste & Stay Human, who provided their own interpretation as a teaser.
