“Think back to the last time you heard a song that made the hair on the back of your neck stand up, made you want to dance or go out and kick somebody’s ass,” Bobby Cannavale, who plays sleazy rock ‘n’ roll studio executive Richie Finestra, urges in the fiery new trailer for HBO’s Vinyl.
We also get a look at Olivia Wilde as a rose-colored-lens-wearing rock goddess who is apparently Cannavale’s love interest, and James Jagger (Mick’s son) in the role of dreamy British-accented lead singer and guitarist. The drug-fueled, wild-eyed antics of the trailer are all set to The Stooge’s ”I Wanna Be Your Dog.” HBO’s series, which airs in January, features the talents of Martin Scorcese, Mick Jagger, and Terrence Winter.
