James Corden has enlisted some of music’s biggest voices for his “Carpool Karaoke” series, but, well, none of them have been Stevie Wonder, and watching the legend belt his greatest hits—perfectly on pitch, all the time, while busting Corden’s chops—is one of the most purely joyful things you’ll see on late night television.

The two lovingly wind through favorites like “Superstition” and “Sir Duke,” but Wonder’s best comes when he corrals Corden’s phone and serenades the host’s wife with a personalized performance of “I Just Called to Say I Love You.” Corden visibly tears up, and if you have a heart you’ll follow suit.
