There are many advice series on the Internet, but few can match the candor and celebrity appeal of Rookie’s “Ask a Grown” feature, which has a famous adult apply her famous adult wisdom to queries about young love, old enemies, unrequited friendships, and other general crises of adolescence.
The series’ latest host is Julia Louis-Dreyfus, whose counsel is especially wise and predictably charming. Obviously, these videos are aimed at teens, but some universal, all-ages advice always ends up bubbling to the surface. That holds here, as Louis-Dreyfus fields questions about evergreen issues like body image, self-confidence, and the fickle, tenuous nature of a long-distance relationship.
