For better or worse, the success of Mad Max: Fury Road has precipitated a sort of mashup renaissance, with George Miller’s barren world being combined with everything from Mario Kart to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Perhaps the most amusing of said mashups is Ryan May’s whimsical fan art, which replaces rough-edged warriors like Max and Furiosa with the loony characters of Adventure Time.
Now Egor Zghun has made a video inspired by May’s work, and the result is a match made in Valhalla—Finn is Mad Finn, Jake has been transformed into a terrifying desert vehicle, and one Imperator Bubblegum is here to help them take down the evil Immortan Simon. Enjoy.
