Abbi Jacobson is half of one of TV’s funniest comedy duos. “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” is the greatest movie song ever filmed. So they seem like the perfect pairing in this teaser for Thursday’s Lip Sync Battle.
Combating her Broad City costar Ilana Glazer, Jacobson brought a lot of passion to fake-belt the Dreamgirls song that helped Jennifer Hudson win an Oscar. Of course, Jacobson’s lip syncing talents will not surprise Broad City fans, who got an earful (and an eyeful) of her abilities when she performed a very memorable Lady Gaga number on the show.
