Lana Del Rey Debuts the Otherworldly Title Track From Her New Album Honeymoon

Flower crown queen Lana Del Rey has debuted the gloomy title track for her new album, Honeymoon. The video for the song, which the singer teased in January, briefly shows Del Rey lying dreamily in the grass before cutting to the video’s lyrics on a pink, floral background.

“Honeymoon” isn’t too great a departure from Del Rey’s previous work, particularly Born to Die and Paradise—the singer acknowledged the similarities in a Billboard Q&A in January. But with lyrics like “We both know the history of violence that surrounds you/ But I’m not scared, there’s nothing to lose now that I’ve found you,” the new song also wouldn’t be have been out of place on Del Rey’s melodramatic previous album, Ultraviolence.
