The new trailer for Fargo’s second season takes us back to 1979, populated by celebrities including Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Ted Danson, Patrick Wilson, Jeffrey Donovan, and Jean Smart. Bruce Campbell will also star this season as Ronald Reagan, and perhaps most excitingly, Nick Offerman will play Karl Weathers, a Korean War vet and the town lawyer of Luverne, Minnesota.
In this season, we follow a young police officer, Lou Solverson (Wilson), who finds himself looking into a local crime gang and a major Mob syndicate. It’s hard to glean much plot from the trailer, but it’s hard not to chuckle at Jeffrey Donovan calmly ordering a chocolate glaze as an unconscious body is splayed on the floor next to him. The new season airs in September.
