David Letterman Emerges From Retirement, Roasts Donald Trump With a Top Ten List

In May, David Letterman concluded his three-decade late night reign with a very long, very moving final episode. It seemed like the beginning of a quiet, much-deserved retirement, but the man’s already back: Down in San Antonio, during Steve Martin and Martin Short’s Very Stupid Conversation stage show, Letterman appeared unannounced with a full beard and a final Top Ten list tucked in his suit pocket.

The theme of that list? Donald Trump. Talking to the crowd, Letterman said retiring before Trump’s presidential campaign was “the biggest mistake of my life,” and the only solution was—what else?—a few toupee jokes. Enjoy.
