What if the Emotions From Inside Out Were in Other Movies?

Inside Out’s greatest innovation is its conception of what goes on inside the human brain, with a “cast of anthropomorphized feelings, whose shape, color, and movement express their inner being,” as Slates Dana Stevens wrote in her review. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, who vie for control in an 11-year-old’s mind, are the breakout stars of Pixar’s hit film.

The personified emotions are so memorable that we wondered what they would look like in other classic movies. What does the inside of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s head look like in Kindergarten Cop, for instance, and who’s at the helm during Peter Finch’s iconic speech in Network? The emotional results are above.
