In the movies, the life of a princess is all handsome princes, pretty gowns, and tiny blue birds that do all your dressing for you. But history tells us it’s something a little different. That’s the message of this new Inside Amy Schumer sketch, in which Schumer is a newly crowned princess who finds out that royal life, for a young girl, isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

The sketch is pretty self-explanatory, but one of the more subtle details it deserves credit for is the casting of Tim Gunn as royal attaché Willenby—a nice touch that gives the Project Runway mentor a chance to send up his own role in one of Disney’s newest properties to market the fantasy of being a princess, Disney Junior’s Sofia the First.
