Can Charlie Brown turn his bad luck around?

Still taken from the trailer.

Lucy, Pigpen, Peppermint Patty, and, of course, unlucky little Charlie Brown—the gang’s all here in the new trailer for The Peanuts Movie. The film, set to be released in November, will be the fifth feature-length movie based on Charles M. Schulz’s beloved comics.

The previous Peanuts teaser and holiday trailers, which were mostly full of Snoopy-and-Woodstock antics, showcased the film’s 3-D animation style, causing much alarm in Peanuts purists. This latest trailer sheds light on the movie’s plot: Charlie Brown has an opportunity to revamp his image when a “new kid” moves into the neighborhood. Though she’s never fully revealed, said new kid fits the description of the mysterious Little Red-Haired Girl, the always-out-of-frame object of Charlie Brown’s affections.
