With Taylor Swift’s latest single, “Bad Blood,” now sitting comfortably atop Billboard’s Hot 100, it’s hard to remember a time when the singer didn’t inevitably scale the charts. But that time wasn’t actually too long ago: It was only in 2012, with “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” that Swift scored her first No. 1 single.
There’s a circular poetry, then, to YouTube user Andrea Sanchez’s mashup, which combines “Bad Blood” and “We Are Never Getting Back Together” into an uber-catchy number that would surely climb the charts if it wasn’t, you know, a fan video made on the Internet. Enjoy.
