The first time Reese Witherspoon hosted SNL, she was an upstart 25-year-old tasked with helming the show two weeks after 9/11. Her second appearance fell on a more chipper occasion: The actress kicked off Saturday’s episode by inviting cast members to wish their moms a happy Mother’s Day and apologize for past sins.
Those apologies include some funny anecdotes, but the really cute stuff comes later, when the SNL moms share a collection of home videos. Don’t miss adolescent Kyle Mooney’s stone-faced rendition of “Yesterday.”
