Kristen Wiig Did Her Best Daenerys Targaryen on Jimmy Fallon Last Night

Kristen Wiig did some of her best character work Wednesday night on The Tonight Show as “Karen,” the Mother of Dragons, complete with platinum blonde hair and a long, shimmery dress—and a small dragon named “Carl” perched on her shoulder. Fear not, Emilia Clarke, the answers Wiig gave to Fallon’s rapid fire questions made it clear she’s not gunning for the role of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones any time soon. “Karen” is more interested in playing the mandolin and dabbling in standup comedy than she is in reclaiming the Iron Throne.
