Sesame Street Made an Avengers Parody, and Its Terrible Puns Do Not Disappoint

The Avengers: Age of Ultron doesn’t come out until Friday, but, to tide you over, Sesame Street has made a parody, “The Aveggies: Age of Bon Bon.” As that title suggests, the parody goes all-in on terrible food puns: The world is on the brink of being “desserted,” with all its healthy foods destroyed, so the Aveggies—led by Captain Americauliflower—assemble to stop this evil plan.

This spoof may not have quite as many bad food puns as the show’s take on The Hunger Games (which starred a pita as Peeta), but with such heroes as Onion Man (Iron Man) and Zucchin-eye (Hawkeye), it comes pretty close.
