If Season 5 of Game of Thrones, which premieres April 12, has one thing in store for us, it’s more carnage. Also, a truly massive grown-up version of Drogon. The new trailer, released during today’s Apple Watch event, features Daenerys Targaryen vowing to “break the wheel” in an extended metaphor in which all the kingdoms of Westeros are the spokes, then describing herelf as a “queen, not a butcher,” and Tyrion staring at the sky, open-mouthed, as Drogon looms overhead. In any event, it offers a lot more grist than the the highly mysterious first trailer.
