This week in unlikely collaborations that result in still-unlikelier gems: Noise-pop darlings Sleigh Bells and up-and-coming Chicago rapper-singer Tink have teamed up for “That Did It,” and the surprise new song is a blast.

When the two artists shared a stage at SXSW in March, Tink left an impression on Sleigh Bells singer Alexis Krauss. “I immediately thought she was incredibly badass,” Krauss told Rolling Stone, “She’s like a firecracker—she has an incredible stage presence and charisma.” Red Bull Sound Select then brought Sleigh Bells and Tink into the same New York Studio in June, and when Sleigh Bells played Tink their Bitter Rivals outtake “Infinite Power,” Tink’s quick-thinking adlibbing made Miller and Krauss fall “back in love with the track.” You can listen to the song for free below or buy it on iTunes.
