Alec Baldwin’s Love Ride is a new Web series from Above Average, in which Baldwin presents himself as an “internationally recognized relationship expert” and offers advice to young couples who join him in a taxi. In the first episodes, longtime Saturday Night Live writer Paula Pell follows him in a van with an earpiece, suggesting questions and comments, Cyrano de Bergerac–like.
If you find Baldwin’s comic persona of gruff and seemingly oblivious self-involvement consistently amusing, as I do, then you will probably enjoy this. Two episodes were released Wednesday, and new episodes will become available weekly.
