12 Other Classic Hip-Hop Albums That Should Get All-Cat Remixes

When hip-hop duo Run the Jewels announced a deluxe edition of their new album that would use “nothing but cat sounds for music,” it was supposed to be a joke. But after one month and more than $45,000 raised on Kickstarter, Meow the Jewels is really happening.

But why should the all-feline remixes end there? Meow the Jewels got us dreaming about other classic hip-hop albums that should get their own all-cat versions. After whittling down to our best purrposals, here are the ones—complete with new names and album art—we’d like to see happen.

Thanks to Daniel Engber, Aisha Harris, Dee Lockett, Ben Mathis-Lilley, Seth Maxon, Seth Stevenson, and June Thomas for their additional catributions.
