Beyoncé seems to relish surprise. Last year, she broke the Internet by dropping a new record entirely unannounced. Now she’s dropped an excellent remix for album highlight “Flawless,” which marks her very first collaboration with Nicki Minaj.

They make a powerful pair. Minaj employs all her usual swagger and rapid-fire lyricism, touting her place as “the queen of rap slaying with Queen Bey.” Beyoncé, for her part, takes the opportunity to address her haters (“You can say what you want/ I’m the shit”) and their obsession with one elevator incident (“Of course sometimes shit goes down/ When there’s a billion dollars on an elevator”). You can listen to the track above or over on Beyoncé’s website.
