Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” was the song of last summer, an absurdly catchy track that didn’t quite conquer the charts but wholly captured our hearts. Making the rounds now is a performance that resurrects the hit’s head-bopping memory: a lovely little band named the ShowHawk Duo play an acoustic medley comprised of Daft Punk’s greatest hits, including not just “Get Lucky” but favorites like “Aerodynamic,” “Robot Rock,” and “One More Time.”
It’s an impressive effort, one made all the more enjoyable for the stark difference between Daft Punk's electronic pop and the acoustic wizardry on display.
