We’ve featured the work of Postmodern Jukebox many times, and their latest—an impressive cover of Britney Spears’ “Womanizer,” done in the style of a ‘40s torch song—doesn’t disappoint. To my ear, the song sounds much better with these jazzy, big band influences; it seems like a perfect tune for some smoky piano lounge in the mid-20th century. Cristina Gatti supplies the sultry vocal and the band is smooth as ever.
