Game of Thrones penultimate episode centered entirely on Jon Snow’s efforts to rally the troops against a brutal assault, but Snow (Kit Harrington) has never been known for his skills as an orator. Instead, the “traitor’s bastard” is mostly known for his angst-ridden emotional expressions.

As a tribute to Snow’s star turn in the defense of Castle Black, we’ve compiled a roundup of Snow doing what he does best: brooding.
