Edge of Tomorrow Meets Groundhog Day in Edge of Groundhog

Is Tom Cruise’s new movie just Groundhog Day with aliens? We’re far from the first to note the parallels in Edge of Tomorrow’s premise, but we took the next step to see how well the audio from the sci-fi action movie’s trailer matched the Bill Murray comedy. Plus who wouldn’t want to watch Bill Murray star in an action movie.

Of course, we did something similar with Tom Cruise’s last movie Oblivion—that sci-fi action movie was basically Wall•E with humans—and that movie turned out to be not so bad. For Tom Cruise’s next movie, may we suggest a sci-fi action movie about a ghost-busting police force, or toys that come alive when you’re out of the room?
