For all of Maya Angelou’s cultural travels, most people first encounter her through her poetry. One small measure of that influence can be found on YouTube, where dozens of scrappy tribute performances of her many classics have accumulated over the years. The video above collects some of the most inventive, touching takes on "Still I Rise," perhaps Angelou’s best-known poem.
