Over the weekend, Darren Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures uploaded what is probably the best sequence from the director’s uneven but occasionally thrilling Noah: the story of creation, as narrated by Russell Crowe in the title role. As with the rest of the film, this version of creation is adapted fairly freely from the book of Genesis, in an apparent attempt to roughly square what science has told us about the universe’s evolution with the Biblical account.
It may not work quite so well on YouTube as it does on the big screen, but it’s still worth watching.
