This week, Screen Junkies, the folks behind the reliably funny “Honest Trailers” for pop-culture juggernauts like Game of Thrones, Man of Steel, and Breaking Bad, to name a few, have tackled Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, otherwise known as “the last film you’d ever want to watch with your grandparents,” according to this honest trailer’s voiceover.
There’s no shortage of fodder to poke fun at, of course: the film’s notorious “average of 3.16 fucks per minute,” Matthew McConaughey’s chest-pounding chant, and the rampant “Scorsese-isms,” among many other things. And for those who’ve yet to see the film, the “honest” trailer even manages to remain mostly spoiler-free. Enjoy.
