The Game of Thrones Theme Song Gets a Smooth Jazz Cover

Ever get the Game of Thrones theme song stuck in your head but wish it was more mellow? Behold the smooth jazz version, recorded by Grammy-nominated saxophonist Dave Koz and the retro-styled musicians of Postmodern Jukebox.

It’s not quite as dramatic as Ramin Djawadi’s original composition, true, but the show’s already got the market on gloom cornered. After last night’s premiere, we could use some levity.
