If I Could Change Your Mind” was among the more danceable offerings on Haim’s great debut album Days Are Gone; the girls even tried their hand at choreography in the video. Now the song has gotten a funkier interpretation by legendary disco producer Cerrone, and it’s a delight.

Given that Haim is a band that doesn’t shy away from its affinity for old hits, it’s not surprising that this feels like it could have been played at Studio 54. It’s also nearly impossible to listen to this version without wanting to dance—the smooth harmonies and melody line fit perfectly with Cerrone’s uptempo, disco-fied remix.
