Here’s What Jason Segel Will Look Like as David Foster Wallace

When it was first announced that Jason Segel would play David Foster Wallace in the movie adaptation of David Lipsky’s book Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip With David Foster Wallace, many DFW fans were concerned. Would Segel look like Wallace? Could he bring enough seriousness to the role?

I’m not sure these first images from the set of the movie (which also show Jesse Eisenberg as Lipsky) will put all those concerns to rest, but decked out in the writer’s signature bandana, he certainly looks like Wallace:
