Haim has demonstrated their chops as a top-notch cover band many times over: From Fleetwood Mac to Sheryl Crow to Miley Cyrus, the sisters consistently provide delightful takes on other people’s music.
Their latest: Beyoncé’s dreamy pop ballad “XO,” the reigning diva’s other recent single (i.e., the one that’s not the ubiquitously reimagined “Drunk In Love”). While the vocals are not quite so flawless as the original’s, Haim offers a pleasantly stripped-down interpretation of what will likely become one of Beyoncé’s signature songs. Next up: “Pretty Hurts”?
