Seinfeld Offers His Own Take on Smartphones

Not surprisingly, Jerry Seinfeld’s take on smartphones, offered on the new Tonight Show last night, is basically free of the tortured moral grappling evident in his friend and colleague Louis C.K.’s much discussed riff from a few months back. He pokes some fun at our smartphone mannerisms, but basically Seinfeld thinks talking’s over, and while he sometimes feels “like a blacksmith” he doesn’t seem too torn up about it.

He also likes email and thinks the postal service is a “dazed and confused distant branch of the Cub Scouts” with a business plan based on “licking, walking, and a random number of pennies.”
