Last month, Louis C.K. signed an “overall deal” with FX, which airs his show Louie, “to develop and produce new series.” It was happy news for comedy fans, but it wasn’t clear at the time whether anything would come of it very soon.
Well, good news: FX has just announced that a new series is already in the works under the new deal, and C.K. is writing it with fellow comic Zach Galifianakis, who is set to star.
FX doesn’t provide any other details about the show (apart from a list of producers, all of whom have worked with either C.K. or Galifianakis before). But stay tuned.
