(Every time I ask a bartender for a Lagunitas Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’, I want to crawl under my barstool and die.) The folks behind Nacho Punch know a little sumpin’ sumpin’ about silly names, and have made a delightful video about the lengths breweries go to to set their IPAs apart from the rest. Although the title of the video is “Hipsters Love Beer,” the video works better as an indictment of beer snobbery than as an indictment of hipsters. Hipsters are fish in a barrel, whereas beer snobbery is a comic vein that, as this video shows, has not yet been fully mined.
