Louis C.K. and Jerry Seinfeld Go Boating

Louis C.K. looks skeptically at Jerry Seinfeld on their way to the boat.

Crackle

The first guest on Season 3 of Jerry Seinfeld’s Web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, is Louis C.K., and the 20-minute installment doesn’t disappoint: First in a tiny car and then in a fairly large boat, C.K. and Seinfeld discuss stand-up, fatherhood, and what C.K. likes to do best when his kids are with their mother for a few days (namely, get stoned and see a 3-D movie in IMAX).

C.K. also tells the whole, hilarious story of getting his boat stuck in the mud, and he reveals that he hired Steven Wright to help him with Season 4 of Louie—which prompts Seinfeld’s memories of playing a show at a college football stadium with Wright in the 1980s. (There were 80,000 people in the crowd, he says.) And he digs deeper into his past later on, telling C.K. that his first words as a baby were “Leave me alone.” Sounds about right.
